Introduction

Hello, everyone. My name is Mary Desiree and I am a singer-songwriter. I am an active artist in the music scene and a BIG supporter of LIVE music. I have come to realize that I know quite a lot of bands in the 5 boroughs and I think it's time to put a little light on all the bands I know. This whole blog is going to be consisting of my personal reviews of local bands and possible interviews with them as well. If this goes well, I hope to see that all the bands I talk about will gain a few more fans as well as avid supporters at live shows.The whole point that I'm doing this is so that people can see and hear about bands they've never heard of (but after hearing them, they might like them a lot), and so that we can keep the LIVE music scene out there. Nothing is more awesome than seeing the sweat pour out of the artists that are rocking out on stage, in person, and experiencing every beat of the drums and electrifying riffs being played in a small bar or lounge. The best musical experience out there are in intimate spots where you can just feel the passion of all the people performing there. Well, enough of that...keep checking up on this blog for new band reviews/interviews. I might just throw on posts about my favorite songs from each band I know. Who knows? Anything is possible.
